Children in America and in Hong Kong

This week our topic for the storyteller class learnt about the difference between Hong Kong children and American children school lives.

With the current pandemic. How is it affecting students from different parts of the world? What are schools doing to help students to adjust to this new norm? How can students stay positive during this pandemic?

“Do you enjoy online learning? Do you prefer face to face teaching in a school environment or online?”

What are the pros and cons for studying online?

Online Learning

Online learning is the new trend for this pandemic. Teachers and students are learning to adopt this new norm. This new pandemic started in early months of 2020 and continuing into 2021. As educators we also learnt to adopt the online learning environment by offering Zoom classes to our students.

We faced some difficulties when using the new technology of teaching. All files needs to be online and ready for each lessons. Lack of participation during class by students due to the distance created by the internet. Luckily due to continuous improvement and feedbacks, we have redesigned our courses to meet this new challenge.
